How Do I Vote?

Election Day is October 26! Regular polls will open at 9 a.m. and close at 8 p.m.

Where do you vote?

Find the polling place designated for your address at “My Voting Info” and watch for your Voter Information Card (VIC) – we’ll be mailing VICs to eligible voters between Monday, September 26 and Friday, September 30, 2016.

To make voting easy and accessible, we offer several alternatives to Election Day voting. Use the tabs above for details on all your voting options:

  • Anyone can vote early at our Advance Polls – cast a ballot from your car at our drive-thru poll on McIntyre Street or at several locations throughout the city
  • If you are homebound and unable to visit an established polling place to vote, you can apply to vote during the Mobile Poll
  • Voters at hospitals, seniors’ centres and special care homes can take advantage of Special Polls or mail-in ballots
